Well, 2006 has been an exciting year for Electrodata. We've had a major change of management, have a restructure underway and have introduced some great new products and feature enhancements to the market. Our Sales team has a new manager. Malcolm Harrison has a long history in the voice logging industry.

Would you be aware that your critical conversations were not being recorded if one of the input cables was accidentally disconnected? Well one of our new features ChannelChecker  can detect this and raise an alarm. Call your Electrodata salesman about enabling this on your Electrodata recorder.

Our SelCall feature to capture two-way radio identification tones is proving very popular. The State Transit Authority of NSW is now using this capability with their bus fleet.

Electrodata on the buses

Finding two-way radio calls on a recorder has always been a case of finding a “needle in a haystack - until Electrodata produced its ANI capable Advantage recorder for the State Transit Authority in Sydney.

State Transit uses a Selcall or Automatic Numeric Identification (ANI) system for calling and identifying its state-wide bus fleet. After a relatively short development period, Electrodata produced the ANI capable recorder solution that met the STA specific requirements. Read more...

“Channel Checker" keeping an eye on your calls for you!

Having the ability to know if staff are keeping up with designated call rates or if your secretary has been talking to her boyfriend for 3 hours is having the peace of mind that if problems occur with any channel on your recorder, Channel Checker can email an alarm to you so that the problem can be resolved quickly and efficiently.

Channel Checker will raise an alarm if a channel or user selectable range of channels vary from what you would consider normal. Channels can be set to ignore weekends or if you wish you can enable checking any combination of days. Read more
