Electrodata Makes Deployment Quicker! |
|
Traditionally, Recorders were always subject to budgetary planning and sometimes constraints, now we have made that deployment process easier.
Recently we established a partnership with a finance broker KRW Partners Pty Ltd. KRW makes financing business equipment purchases easy. Providing a full service finance brokerage, meaning that you only need to advise our sales person and we do the rest, relieving you of the hassle of the associated paperwork.
We can provide the best possible rates for all types of finance facilities from $2K to $20M through our affiliations with major lending institutions and smaller boutique funders. Since 1986, KRW has been assisting commercial and government entities with their financing requirements. Clients include single
operator businesses, small to medium companies, multi national corporations, and government departments of all levels.
Consider these benefits
- Easy Funding - 100% financing of equipment. Equity is generally not required.
- Tax Deductibility - Rental payments are fully tax deductible whilst other facilities generate deductions via depreciation and interest.
- Preserve Credit Lines - Consider this as an additional funding source, freeing up traditional credit lines for business and investment purposes.
- Protection against obsolescence - Equipment financed via lease and rental can be upgraded and updated allowing you to take full advantage of technology improvements.
- Hedge against inflation - Unlike other business expenses such as salaries, finance payments are fixed for the term of the contract, enabling you to budget effectively from year to year.

Electrodata records Bangladesh CAAB |
|
 | Electronics manufacturer Electrodata Pty Ltd has made flying in Bangladesh safer, thanks to its work in supplying that country’s civil airports with electronic voice logging recorders, designed and manufactured at its Rydalmere plant in Sydney. Electrodata has just completed a major project to roll out state-of-the-art digital voice logging equipment to all civil airports in Bangladesh, after winning an open tender from the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, which sought to create the capacity to record control tower radio communications throughout the country. The tender process was protracted, taking more than two years, and hard fought against fierce international competition. Electrodata had won a similar tender with the (Bangladeshi) Air Force five years previously and this proved advantageous. Tenders in Bangladesh, are advertised internationally, but overseas companies must bid through local companies. Electrodata’s reseller in this case was a former head of the Civil Aviation Authority, acquainted with Electrodata’s previous work, so able to effectively bid to win the tender. In the course of fulfilling the contract Electrodata had seven Bangladeshi engineers visit Australia for two weeks of intensive product training and project acceptance, while an Electrodata service technician travelled to Bangladesh to install and commission the equipment over a three week period. The value of the project was more than A$330,000. Electrodata is a private, wholly Australian company that designs specialist voice logging software and assembles the hardware in its factory at Rydalmere. Electrodata has designed and exported voice loggers for over 35 years. Electrodata joined the Western Sydney IT Cluster in March this year, after CEO Mark Player attended a WSITC sponsored business forum. Electrodata’s membership adds to the Cluster’s electronics and manufacturing profile and market knowledge, while providing Electrodata with access to a wide range of business development opportunities and industry and market intelligence networks. What did they say? Who spoke first? When did they say it? |
|
These are just some of the questions that customers using our products often ask themselves when they are trying to locate and retrieve a call. In general, all recorders will collect calls but finding a call efficiently and effectively is a different story. This is where Multi-Channel Time Line Replay comes in to its own. A long-standing feature of Electrodata’s voice logging recorders is our unique multi-channel replay feature. This time saving feature is an extremely quick and easy way to spotlight busy or unusual call activity at a glance. It also provides a great overview of your business call flow instantly, without even needing to listen to a single call. In Time Line mode (diplayed below), you can replay all the displayed calls simultaneously on screen in surround sound to help you work out who said what? to whom? and when?
If you already own an Electrodata voice logging recorder based on Windows running Maxitrac V1.4 software or above (Including all versions of Advantage and Assurance) then you already have this feature in your system. To enable this view on your recorder, simply place a tick in the "View as Time Line" box at the bottom of the "Filter" dialog box as highlighted in blue in the following screenshot.
Once the Time Line Replay is selected, you can control which channels are replayed by toggling the mute button for each individual channel. Alternatively, if you need to zoom to a particular location to get more detail about the call, highlight the appropriate area with your mouse and then click "Zoom" => "Zoom Selection". Hopefully you already knew about this feature but for those of you that didn't, we hope that you learnt something new about your voice recorder. To learn more about how this feature can benefit you, please do not hesitate to call or email us for more information. |

VoIP Recording? Electrodata eliminates the stress! |
|
VoIP is quickly replacing legacy technology as the telephony choice for many businesses big and small. There are many vendors of VoIP switches like Cisco, Avaya and Asterisk to name a few. Which system to invest in is a decision facing IT Managers that can be quite daunting. It is not only telephony that comes into the equation as there are many additional products that need to be integrated into the basic system to give you a rounded, viable telephony system, that will not only deliver your telephony needs now, but also grows with your business into the future. There is still a lot of confusion about what the cost savings are and one of the issues now coming to the forefront of discussions is that of recording.
There are many ways to record VoIP and a few different protocols available, although SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is by far the most popular.
There are many reasons companies record their communications, with quality assurance, training and protection from litigation being the main reasons. Setting meaningful training programs and allowing supervisors to monitor agent’s calls has always been one of the major benefits for recording. It is very important that prior to implementing any recording system that careful assessment is made of the analytics available and what value will be gained by purchasing them. Many hours can be spent in training IT staff in using a feature that gives no actual value to the business.
Installing any telephony system is quite disruptive to business. VoIP is no different. Vital hours can also be lost while your new telephone system is integrated with the recording system, which all affects your bottom line. Recording is often not thought of when the phone system is first installed and some VoIP switch vendors have recorder partners that have entered into exclusive contracts and therefore offer recorders that are often not the best solution for your needs, as they try to fit their generic solution into your telephone system rather than offering a solution that suits your requirements.
Electrodata Advantage recorders avoid many of these common problems. The VoIP Call Manager is not affected, using passive “Port Mirroring†to the recorder to allow for installation and operation with no telephone disruption. Electrodata Advantage recorders give you the confidence of 100% duty rating, powerful search, replay and other analytical features. Electrodata Advantage provides the tools to tailor training programs for your agents and business situation, without needing to employ additional IT staff to administer the analytics packages.
