One of our new standard features on both our Assurance and Advantage range of voice recorders is “Channel-Checker¯. This feature has been introduced to detect unusual activity or even non-activity on any channel and to notify you by email.
Having the ability to know if your staff are keeping up with designated call rates, or if telephone wiring has been damaged, is important for your peace of mind. “Channel Checker¯ can monitor the call rates of operators, their call duration and detect wiring faults that may otherwise remain undetected for days. “Channel Checker¯ will immediately raise an alarm and send out an email so that the problem can be resolved quickly rather than be detected only when that important call has been missed.
If calls longer than 60 minutes, for example, are a concern to management, “Channel Checker¯ can be configured to raise an alarm whenever a call exceeds this length on any channels being monitored. Long calls may be due to operators leaving their handsets off-hook, taking longer than normal to resolve issues or connection problems to the recorder.

Channel Checker Options
The following settings are available:
- Check all Channels: Checks all channels.
- Check Only: User selectable channels for checking.
- Day of the Week: Channels will only be monitored on user selected days.
- Call rate: Monitors all selected channels for the required user selectable amount of calls.
- Call Duration: Monitors all selected channels for the user selectable call length.
Having the ability to know if something unusual is happening on your recorder channels is having the peace of mind that if problems occur with any channel of your voice recorder it can be resolved in a minimum of time and inconvenience.
